Story
Hello all,
Join me as I suffer from seasickness on the rough waters that come with ocean crossings on the Clipper Round The World race for a year.
I am often asked: what made you decide to do this? It began with a dream of crossing the Pacific Ocean in a boat I built myself to meet/pick my mum up on the other end. As time has passed, most of the dream will remain as dream as I have realized, this endeavor is to test myself on many personal fronts. For example, I’d like to know I can finish something I decided to start, even if the journey is difficult.
Whatever it is… Being able to join the Clipper Race is certainly a blessing, and I pledge to give back through donations to other fundraisers or my own. Join me in giving back to the wider community by supporting our charity partner - UNICEF - to help children fulfill their potential with access to basic education and healthcare. A £20 donation provides 200 soaps. It would be fitting to say: a rising tide lifts all boats.
Thank you for reading and your generosity.
Fair weather to you,
Amanda
