An exceptional leader in the banking industry, Amanda Ellis Weaver has accrued more than 15 years of professional experience.

Among her myriad of responsibilities, Ms. Weaver is especially proud of leading the private banking division at Bank Independent, and many of her tasks include continuous development for the division, as well as portfolio management, team training, mentoring and succession planning. In light of her outstanding feats, she was named among Exceptional Women in Business by Event Magazine and the Professional of the Year by the Madison Chamber of Commerce. She lives and works by the motto, "Successful people are willing to do what unsuccessful people are not."

Amanda has served on many boards in the Huntsville community, including Huntsville Botanical Garden's board. Because the Garden has something for everyone -- whether an oasis for healing or participating in events, Amanda feels strongly about fundraising for the Garden.
