Story

In memory of our big handsome boy, Jamie who gained his angel wings on 9th January 2025, Robert and I are doing the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise funds for Haemophilia Scotland which is a charity close to our hearts ❤️

Haemophilia is a rare inherited blood disorder which has been a huge part of family life for generations. My dad was born with Haemophilia, I am a carrier and my two sons Jamie and Bobby (8 yrs old) were also born with Haemophilia, although it has never defined any of them.

Jamie brought so much love, laughter and light into all of our lives. He always had a big smile on his face as well as putting smiles on other people's faces with his funny banter and antics. Jamie was such a loving, kind, polite, considerate and caring young man.

Jamie had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone in life and his final act of kindness was to help give others the gift of life by organ donation. Due to his truly selfless act of generousity, four people have received an organ transplant.

▪️A lady in her fifties was very fortunate to receive a kidney transplant after spending over three years on the transplant waiting list.

▪️Jamie's other kidney helped a gentleman in his thirties, he had spent over six years on the transplant waiting list.

▪️A gentleman in his forties received pancreas islets transplant after spending one year on the transplant waiting list.

▪️A gentleman in his twenties received the precious and especially rare gift of an urgent heart transplant.

Thanks to Jamie's precious gift of organ donations these recipients now look forward to healthier and brighter futures.

Close family and friends have also signed up and joined our team to do the kiltwalk in memory of Jamie.

Let's do Jamie proud and donate what you can and also share our page, greatly appreciated.

love Amanda and Robertxx
