Story
April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. It is also the start of my latest and hardest treatment yet.
Almost 5 years ago I was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 Bowel Cancer and after a bowel resection, 3 lung resections including a lung lobe removal plus Chemotherapies and 3 radiotherapy ablations unfortunately my cancer continues to grow. As such in the next few weeks I will lose my hair, so to make some good from this, I, along with a group of family and friends are going to “Brave the Shave” . It would mean the world to me to raise as much money as possible to Bowel Cancer UK - to help people like me being able to get diagnosed earlier and find better treatments to help combat this horrible disease.
We will keep you all updated in this blog with before and after shots of our baldness 😊 so please keep revisiting this page to see us. Equally there are 9 legends in this team so far so please just let me know if you wish to join us 😊. I understand if not but if you kindly donate us that would be amazing.
Bowel Cancer identified early is one of the easiest cancer’s to cure. Equally -Someone dies of Bowel Cancer every 30 mins.
Please check your Poo!!!
Thank you & Much Love, Mand
