Story
I have been given the amazing (and very scary) opportunity to be a contestant in the Queenscourt Hospice Strictly event on Saturday 18th November 2023.
Me and my fellow dancers will compete (although I am sure a lot of supporting and encouraging will be happening), for the Queenie GlitterBall on the night. The event is sure to be lots of fun, but wow, I didn't realise how challenging it would be to learn a dance. Apart from the odd Zumba class and bouncing around the dancefloor on very rare occasions these days, I have never learned any ballroom or formal dancing so this should be good!!! On the night, I'll be performing the...... SAMBA.... and I can guarantee that I will be very entertaining.... eek!!
If you could please donate a few quid to help raise crucial funds for Queenscourt.... and I promise to share some snippets of my progress and I will hopefully get to share a video of my dance on the night to prove I did it :) Thanks in advance everyone for your support.
