Thank you for supporting my fundraising. For many of you, you will have all ready been extremely generous over the years… for this I am so grateful. In 2024 I plan to run in memory, firstly, of my Father who sadly passed away in 2022, but also for all the many families, like mine, who have been affected and impacted by Cancer. I had been about to run in the Virtual London Marathon, for Macmillan Cancer Support, in 2021 but was injured at the last minute and so had to pull out. I made a promise to myself, whilst I was in a rehab boot, that I would run the TCS London Marathon for Macmillan when the time was appropriate. I have been fortunate enough to have been given a place in four races this year, one of which is the London Marathon and so I am lacing up and hoping to make a difference! The big new challenge will be the ultra marathon ‘Race to the Stones’ on 14th July. 100km in one day!!
