Story
Hey everyone, I wanted to share something personal with you – most will know that I have MS. What you might not know is that my first relapse happened three decades ago now. Throughout this time, I've been incredibly fortunate to have the unwavering support of my friends, family, the amazing medical teams, and the broader MS community.
Now, it's my turn to give back. The MS Society has been my constant support & reliable 'go-to' whenever I needed to check something out. They not only offer individual support but also lead research – and that's incredibly close to my heart.
So, here's the curveball – I'm taking a leap, quite literally, out of a plane. I'll be honest, heights/flying aren't my go-to choices of enjoyment. Yet, after 30 years of navigating life with MS, facing challenges has become second nature – so, why not add one more to the list? (And I will be strapped to someone else - I'm not completely mad!)
I know that times are tough at the moment, but if you can afford anything to support me with this, I would appreciate it - or please just share my link more widely. Your support won't just contribute to an incredible cause (I genuinely believe we'll find a cure through research) but, frankly, it's also your encouragement that I need to make sure I go and do it!
Thank you *so* much – your support means the world to me. I'll keep you posted...
