Story
A team of us are walking the Lake District Three Peaks (as we're calling it - piggy backing on last years challenge Yorkshire 3 Peaks) - completing all in one day.
The team includes: Steve Musker, Stephen Thomasson, Rich Robertshaw, Jimmy Sung, Jonathan Sharp, James Chillman, Pete Coverley, Chris Shaw.
This years challenge will involve us hiking over the three highest peaks in England but effectively the highest 6 in England, Scafell Pike #1, Scafell #2 and Helvellyn #3, bagging Ill Crag #4, and Broad Crag #5 enroute but we also thought we'd add Skiddaw #6 just to round things off. We are estimating it will take us around 13-14 hours hard slog and will ascent 8900ft in total. This is an additional 3700ft ascent on last years Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge (which sounds quite daunting now it is on here).
If you could please give what you can to help provide well needed funds for the PTA, which will be used towards helping create a new library and other nurturing activities at the school.
Many thanks.
