Story
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Supporters,
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we come together to honor the memory of our beloved sister, Nina. On her third and final battle with cancer, Nina displayed unparalleled strength, unwavering resilience, and a spirit that inspired all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Nina was more than a sister; she was a beacon of courage, a fighter who confronted life's challenges head-on. From the tender age of 8, she bravely faced the relentless struggles of diabetes. Throughout the years, she underwent a kidney and pancreas transplant, demonstrating a resilience that defied the odds. Her journey, however, was not without its trials, as she faced the formidable adversary of Lymphoma not once, but three times.
Nina's indomitable spirit, however, could not be extinguished by the hardships she faced. She touched the lives of many with her warm heart, compassion, and an ability to connect with others on a profound level. In every battle, Nina emerged not only as a survivor but as an inspiration to us all.
In honor of Nina's memory, and to continue the fight against the diseases that marked her journey, we have established this JustGiving page. The funds raised will be dedicated to cancer and kidney research, supporting initiatives that strive to find a cure and improve the lives of those affected. As a family united in grief and determination, we have committed ourselves to the Race for Life challenge and a subsequent midnight marathon.
We invite you to join us in commemorating Nina's legacy by contributing to this cause. Every donation, big or small, will make a meaningful impact in advancing the vital research needed to combat these diseases. Together, we can celebrate Nina's life by taking meaningful steps towards a future free from the grip of cancer and kidney-related illnesses.
Nina may no longer be with us, but her spirit lives on through the memories we shared and the love she generously gave. Let us come together as a community to honor her memory, continue her fight, and make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude
