About Them

There are 1.5 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

For the UK's care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it's all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits.

The Care Workers Charity provides support to carers who are in need of assistance, providing an average of over £1 Million in aid each year whilst also providing training and counselling when required. Since 2020 they have paid out over £6.1million grants to over 12,100 care workers. Without donations, their work would cease and carers in need would be stranded in financial difficulties.
