WE DID IT!!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED US.
I'm running the London Marathon for Anthony Nolan the Blood Cancer Charity with my long term running buddies - The Running Joke. It’s what happens when you have Scots, Welsh , Irish and English women together.
We were devastated when Sian - our Welsh lady - was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2021. She had noticed something was amiss as had gone from running 10 miles at the drop of a hat, to suddenly finding 1 mile exhausting. Thanks to Anthony Nolan she had a stem cell transplant and has made a full recovery.
To celebrate this miracle Team Running Joke is running the London Marathon to support the amazing charity that saved her life. I always said I would never run a marathon - it's just too far - but Sian's amazing recovery is my motivation.
To be honest right now I can't imagine running 26.2 miles, but with the support of the team, and you, I will make it to the end and we will raise money for the crucial work that Anthony Nolan do.
By supporting us, you will be giving more people with blood cancer the chance of a future. So please give what ever you can.
And if you are under 18-30 please think about becoming a donor. Details are here:

With your help, together, we can keep saving lives.
