Story

5 children are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK, that's 150 children during this September and 1,800 new cases every year.

Cancer is the leading cause of death in children in the UK, and while survival rates are increasing, so are long term ill health side effects from the cancer itself and/or it's treatments.

Exercise and activity have been proven to be the single most effective way of improving physical and mental wellness for people surviving cancer and what better way for children than cycling; it is low impact, outdoor, sociable and fun!

We help 700 children every year to get pedalling by providing them with new lightweight bikes, specially adapted trikes, tandems, tag-a-longs, exercise bikes, cycling-related equipment and support. They make a huge positive impact on their physical, mental and social wellbeing during their treatment and into rehabilitation. We have never failed to get a child pedalling yet!
