Story

6 friends walking and running 62 miles (each) in October for 62 miles for CALM

So much of what we see on the surface, isn't always the same as what's beneath. Everyone has their demons and struggles, and sometimes it feels like there really is no other way out and you're lost in this world on your own - or you think it would be a better place without you in it.

But that's not the case. You never have to be alone, and every light burns brighter together.

Five and a half years ago, in April 2019 we lost Paul Oliver to suicide. He was a father, husband, friend and all of that in between. He passed away at just 53 years old. He was a ridiculously funny, genuine, generous, down to earth, for everyone, type of guy. But beneath all that, he suffered with his mental health. And he suffered with it for a long time.

And that's why we're doing 62 Miles in October for CALM., for Ollie and for all our other friends and family that have suffered.

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We’ve got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.

£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
