Help us support people affected by the earthquake in Türkiye, where poor sanitation is putting vulnerable people at even greater risk. We're supporting people with essential food & hygiene items, while showing them we care and that they're not alone

Story

Refugee Support is on the ground in Türkiye, providing essential support to displaced people in the wake of the recent earthquake.

The devastation there is overwhelming: Crumbling buildings as far as the eye can see, and TWO MILLION people now living in tents and temporary accommodation.

One of the most pressing problems right now is the lack of available toilets and showers. There are signs of increasing health issues, putting vulnerable people at even greater risk.

Refugee Support has partnered with several local organisations to distribute essential hygiene items to people in towns surrounding Gazientep which have been partially destroyed, as well as the city of Antakya, which lies in ruins.

In order to provide this essential support to 5,000 of the worst affected people, they need to raise £20,000 by 9th April.

The tragedy is huge. By making a donation today, you can reach out and genuinely help people as they start rebuilding their lives. We can show them they are not alone.

Across Europe, people on the move face an increasingly hostile environment, often after a traumatic journey. Refugee Support's pioneering Dignity Centres provide a safe, welcoming space where people on the move can choose food and hygiene items, just like a normal shopping experience.
