This year I'm joining ShelterBox's annual Tent for Lent Campaign.

Rather than give something up I am doing 2 challenges.

1) to walk 1 mile every day in lent

2) to "tax " my spending on leisure ..leisure is a luxory that those who are displaced into refugee camps or living where there have been natural dissters don't have. So anything i do for leisure throughout lent I will put what it cost me into this appeal. Eg a coffee out i will spend £3 and i will put £3 into the tent for Lent appeal. I have theatre tickets that cost £20 so i will pay 20 into this appeal. I will give what I spend on books or swimming etc too.I anticipate my "leisure tax" will be about 250

So I would love it if my friends could sponsor my walks by donating £5

This would mean that if I raised

£425 it ccould provide a family with a tent, a space for a family to call home. A perfect target for a group challenge.
