Update..........

Well, on the 1st January 2024, I had my hair shaved off at Warsash Sailing Club.

I was supported by friends and family. Uncle Martin, family members and friends joined in with having their hair shaved too.

After talking to Uncle Martin, his wishes are that 50% of the money raised goes towards research for MND and the remainder 50% goes to the local MNDA in Southampton and Winchester.

I will keep the Just Giving page open until the end of February.

My Uncle Martin was diasgoned with MND in 2020 and continues to fight this awful disease. At the current time there is no cure.

I have been growing my hair for over a year and if I raise £1,000 by New Year's Eve, I will be shaving it all off to show support for my Uncle Martin.

I have also decided to do this to raise awareness of this horrible disease along with raising funds to help the MND Association to focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
