Story
Every 26 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with some form of Lymphoma, making Lymphoma the fifth most common cancer in the UK.
Lymphoma came into my life in June 2022, when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After six months of fortnightly chemotherapy, I was given the good news in February 2023 that I was cancer free.
During that difficult time, Lymphoma Action UK provided support to myself and my family.
I've decided that I want to give back and help this amazing charity so they can continue to support others in need.
In support of Blood Cancer Awareness Month, this September, with support from Paul and the kids, I will be doing a 5km walk every day for the whole month (30 days in total - 150 km), rain or shine. This will be a challenge for me and I am committed to the task.
If you feel able to make a contribution towards this great cause please see the link below. I will be grateful for anything you are able to donate.
With thanks and gratitude.
Alison
PS: Anyone wanting to join me on my daily walks, drop me a line.
