Story

Hi everyone,

I'm taking part in the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon to raise funds for the NMH Foundation.

I have chosen to support this charity as I have seen first hand the amazing work that the neonatal unit does. My brave little nephew Finn passed away in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the National Maternity Hospital. His loving parents got to spend 4 irreplacable days with their precious boy thanks to the unbelievable work that this unit does.

Partaking in this mini marathon will not only support a charity that is so close to my family's heart but it will also serve as somewhat of milestone for myself having recovered from a set of spinal fractures last year. Getting to take part in something like this would simply not have been possible this time last year.

So with that, I want to thank you so much for you support. It will mean so much and is helping women and babies to thrive, arrive, survive!
