Slightly delayed from autumn 2023, in 2024 I along with volunteer friends and family will be walking and maybe cycling the 134 mile John Muir Way.

Going from Helensburgh to Dunbar I’ll be tackling it in stages over the next year, walking shorter bits while the daylight is still short and longer bits as we get the long summer light. 

Along the way I’ll be raising money for Macmillan cancer support a charity close to my heart as it’s helped many family members and several friends over the years. In particular I’ll be walking it for my dad, who enjoyed a long walk, and who passed away from bowel cancer just over 20 years ago.
