Story
Every year, families receive the devastating news that their child has been diagnosed with cancer. It's a heart-wrenching journey that no one should have to go through. That's why Abby's Heroes is here.
Abby's Heroes is a charity that provides unwavering support to families whose children are admitted to the Piam Brown Ward for 0-16-year-olds or the TYA Teenage and Young Adults Ward for 16-24-year-olds at UHS University Hospital Southampton. We understand the immense emotional and financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis, and we're here to help.
Through our Firewalk for Abby's Heroes event, we aim to raise funds to continue providing vital services to these families. The event will take place on March 21, 2024, and we need your support to reach our target amount of £250.
By donating to our walk, you'll be making a difference in the lives of these brave children and their families. Your contribution will enable us to offer financial grants, practical support, memory-making grants, welfare packs, counseling services for the entire family, as well as two evening meals and a picnic lunch every week.
Join us in this incredible journey of hope and resilience. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of these young heroes.
Donate today and help us provide comfort and support when it's needed most.
