Story
With no training, newly bought cycling shorts and a borrowed bike.... what could possibly go wrong?!
Looking forward to going the distance from London to Brighton for a fantastic charity.
More about the charity:
As a result of long-term health conditions, more than 1 in 10 children in the UK can be denied a carefree childhood, and this number is growing.
For many of these children, quality of life may be adversely affected by isolation and their inability to participate in many of the everyday activities enjoyed by their friends and peers. This often results in a growing lack of self-esteem and confidence which can become a barrier to future growth and development.
Over The Wall is a UK based charity for children with serious illness and disabilities, and their families, to discover a world of mischief and magic. A place where they can be brave and have fun with others. These amazing places are physical – in residential camps and also available online – with Camp in the Cloud. And what’s more, it’s all free!
Their everyday challenges are unique and special. Attending a transformational camp or experience allows them to leave that all at the gate.
