Story

We as a family, are writing to ask for your kind support towards something particularly close to our hearts.  The DCH100 Jurassic Coast Challenge is to raise funds for a new Emergency and Critical Care Unit at Dorset County Hospital.  Some of us, plus various friends and supporters are taking part on Sunday 19th May and walking in Simon’s memory.

Simon spent so much time during his last six months in the Critical Care Unit, and was wonderfully looked after.  We were all so impressed by the dedication and kindness of the entire medical staff.  But it was very obvious that the whole unit needed to be modernised.   The building of a new unit will greatly improve the capacity and transform the experience of patients, their families and staff.

From our efforts we are aiming to raise as much money as we can. Any contribution you can make towards the DCH100 Challenge in Simon’s name, would be gratefully received.

With love and thanks,

Annabel, Ben, Al and Katie
