As an absolute non-runner I will be attempting my second half marathon of the year, for the brilliant charity Bail for Immigration Detainees.

BID is an independent charity that exists to end immigration detention in the UK. They have been helping people exercise their right to liberty alongside campaigning for the end of Immigration detention for over 20 years.

Since 1999, BID have supported over 46,000 people to get out of immigration detention and have borne witness to and evidenced many gross abuses of state power.

I am aiming to raise a minimum of £250 - every little counts if you are able to spare a penny or two!
