Story
I am delighted and proud to have another opportunity to run alongside Paul and my other Eversheds Sutherland colleagues, in support of Team Verrico.
Paul is hoping to raise £20,000 during 2025 to be able to provide more counselling services for those affected by cancer. In particular, bereaved children.
In the words of Paul:
Supporting the mental health of families facing a cancer diagnosis is an ever more difficult problem. CAMHS services are stretched. The NHS is overwhelmed.
Thankfully, through private referrals, we are on average able to shorten the time from referral to first appointment to around 10 days. The demands on our service are massive and we are dedicating this year’s campaign to helping those in need. Cancer patients, bereaved child or bereaved spouse - these miles are for you.
