Story
I am pushing myself with the ultimate trekking challenge in the Lake District.
24 peaks over two days
29.2 miles
3,299 meters of ascent
All to raise money for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, who look after the most seriously ill children in Wiltshire and Dorset. These children need 24 hour care for their complex and often rare medical conditions.
I’ve been working at Julia’s House for nearly three years and I am constantly in awe of the dedicated team of nurses and carers who provide a lifeline of support, through essential respite breaks, to give exhausted families time out from round-the-clock care.
Julia’s house receives just eight per cent government funding, relying on vital public support and donations for 92% of the funds needed to continue to provide critical care.
Any amount you can donate to this epic challenge would be so appreciated, thank you from me and all the children and families we support at Julia’s House.
