*UPDATE: Challenge complete! This weekend, I struggled through 4 laps of Yr Wyddfa. This took me 20 hours, 25mins. I never want to see the Llanberis path ever again. Everything hurts.*

The Cornish Seal Sanctuary rescue and rehabilitate seals and other sick or injured marine mammals in Cornwall and the wider UK. They are currently working on a master plan to improve and future-proof their facilities for at least another 60 years.
In order to help them with this, I have decided to run up and down, and up and down, and up and down (and maybe even up and down and up and down), Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the tallest peak in Wales. This is part of the Always Aim High Black Diamond 24 hour event, the information for which can be found here- https://alwaysaimhighevents.com/events/yr-wyddfa-snowdon-24-2024/yr-wyddfa-24-2024
To clarify, I will not always be running, and plan to spend a significant portion of the time hiking. Each lap is 16km, with just over 900m elevation each time. I aim to get at least 3 laps during the 24 hours, maybe even 4, with the absolute stretch goal being 5.
I would appreciate donations of any amount to help towards the protection of coastal wildlife and to support my stupidity in this endeavour.
For anyone interested in more information, I have posted a highlight about this to my Instagram (@alice_breed), and you can keep updated with my training progress on my strava (https://www.strava.com/athletes/64098198).
