Taking the Jump for Children's Hospice South West!

Sky Dive · 13 September 2025
Hello,👋 thank you for visiting my JustGiving page!
This September, I’ll be taking a huge leap (literally!) by skydiving from 15,000 feet🪂 to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), a charity that has come to mean so much to me.
Jumping out of a plane is both terrifying and exciting, but I’m ready to do it to support this amazing cause. I’ll be freefalling at around 120mph before the parachute opens, giving me a moment to take in the views of St Agnes before landing back on solid ground.
I grew up with Little Harbour just down the road, but I never knew much about what went on inside. When I started working for Happy Days Nurseries & Pre-Schools where CHSW is regularly our Charity of the Year, I had the opportunity to visit the hospice with work. I was truly inspired. Learning about the love, care, and support they provide to children with life-limiting conditions and their families was so moving.
A year on, I’ve gotten to know some of the incredible people who make Little Harbour what it is and they are all amazing. The work they do is life-changing, offering respite, emergency care and end-of-life support to families when they need it most.
As a company, Happy Days has been proud to support CHSW for years, sponsoring a paint station at the Rainbow Run for seven years running. Last year, I took part in the event myself, and it was an unforgettable experience seeing so many people come together to support such an important cause.
I’m aiming to raise £500 by 13th September 2025, and every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. So if you’d like to support me (and give me some extra courage as I freefall!), whether you can spare £1 or £10, your generosity will help CHSW continue their vital work.
Here’s how your donation can help:
💚 £450 could fund three days of Music Therapy, allowing children to express their thoughts and emotions.
💚 £900 could fund a children’s nurse for a full week.
💚 £1,500 could provide 24 hours of round-the-clock care for a child nearing the end of life.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity, I really appreciate it!💕
Please Note: £200 of the funds raised will cover the cost of the skydive, with the remaining sponsorship going directly to CHSW. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and totally secure. Your details are safe, and every penny raised (after event costs) will go directly to the charity.
