Story
When Bodhi was diagnosed with cancer we really went into freefall. We were terrified, lost and overwhelmed. There have been so many worries, many of which go beyond the cancer itself. Pretty immediately we were haemorrhaging money, were geographically torn apart as a family and had nobody to help or to talk to about it all.
*Young Lives Vs Cancer enters stage left*
We were paired up with a charity social worker, Siobhan, who immediately sprang into action and connected us with charities, funding and sometimes just lovely experiences to pick us up along the way. On top of this she's just lovely to talk to and so supportive. I don't know how we would have coped without her.
So I decided to give back. The charity awarded me a place in the London Marathon and I decided to haul my mumsie bottom around 26.2 miles with the only aim being to keep a smile on my face and think of our brave warrior and channel his strength. Never one to be outdone, and matching me in competitive nature, Mark got wind of my plan and suddenly he was running too! It is such an honour for us both to feel like we are passing it forward and that the money we raise will go to help others who will go through what we have.

Any pennies you can throw this way would be sooooo appreciated.
Thank you so much
