I am swimming at Lulworth Cove every day in January.

It is a big challenge with the low temperatures at this time of year and the sea is about 9°C.

But homeless people, visible and hidden, must cope with this weather every day.

During my career in the NHS, I supported people who experienced poverty, homelessness and the ongoing effects on mental and physical health.
