Alex is riding for Action Medical Research

2024 Charity Cycling
Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page in aid of Action Medical Research.
This year I have participated in the 2024 Visa Olympic Charity Bike Ride along with over 50 Visa colleagues, riding around 320 miles from Reading to Paris - host city for the 2024 Olympic games - over four days from 25th to 28th April.
Then, at the end of May I joined 25,000 other riders for RideLondon - the UK’s largest closed-road mass participation cycling event - followed a week later by Davina's Big Sussex Bike RIDE, before heading to the Brecon Beacons on Sunday 23rd June to complete the 'Dragon Devil', billed as the UK's toughest cycling sportive.
Since 2022, I have been riding for Action Medical Research, the UK's leading charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For over 70 years they have helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop the use of ultrasound in pregnancy, fight meningitis, and prevent stillbirths. Your donation will help them develop more new preventions, treatments, and cures for sick babies and children.
