Larsen's Pride Skydive · 28 September 2024 ·

Taking place at Langar Airfield, supporters will experience the thrill of freefall skydiving after a brief training session. They will skydive harnessed to the front of a fully qualified parachuting instructor from 14,000ft.

Story

Larsen’s Pride will be hosting a skydive to raise money to improve the lives & experience of the youngest children after a brain tumour diagnosis.

On 28th September, I will be jumping from 14,000 feet and falling at 120mph to raise money for their charity!

You may know their charity from gorgeous Jellycat donations which help to bring courage and comfort to children during their treatment.

But did you know, they also…

📢 Advocate for children’s rights and experiences at national healthcare conferences

👩‍🏫 Train health care students to improve their knowledge and understanding of working with children in their future roles

📹 Create resources such as videos, animations, posters, sticker charts and more to prepare and distract children during their treatment

📑 Advise and consult with professional bodies on what paediatric specialist roles should look like

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Support families after diagnosis

Please give generously to enable Larsen's Pride to continue their work!

Larsen's Pride was set up in memory of Larsen, who died aged 5 years old, from a rare and aggressive brain tumour. Our mission is to improve the lives of the youngest brain tumour patients (0-12) during their treatment. We do this through the delivery of soft toys and clinical resources.
