throughout my life, since the age of 17, I’ve experience cancer first hand. Most recently at the age of 40 when I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and have undergone double mastectomy with reconstruction and 4 rounds of chemotherapy. Being a ‘complex’ case due to too much radiation in my late teens meant my breast cancer journey was far from simple . But with the help from friends, family, work colleagues and the beatson centre, maggies centre and macmillan cancer trust (as well as sheer determination) I’ve got there 💪🏻

Now it’s time to give back. I’m asking for your support for anything at all you can spare, to support my son and I and a few family members on our Off The Beatson Track walk in august. Please help me to give back to allow the care support and research that’s required to help treat, cure and support people with cancer continue and prosper.
