Story
After taking part in the CoppaTrek with Gi across the alps in 2023 I have the bug for trekking and 120 new kick ass friends that have all been affected by breast cancer.
Climbing Kilimanjaro will be a mission, a challenge on all scales and I wont have 120 people cheering and singing me up to the summit of the mountain. Trekking over 8 days across the Lemosho route to a colossal 5895m I will feel the effects of altitude, no showers and pain from trekking over 8hrs a day through rainforest and mountains. I will be taking on this challenge for my 120 amazing people and everyone who logs on to the CoppaFeel! website between now and the trek.
CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to instil a new healthy behaviour that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to ensure breast cancer is diagnosed early and correctly by getting the nation to check their boobs/chest regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
