We offer emotional support to anyone who's struggling to cope

Story

About 7 years ago I was one of the first to miss the 6:30 hour cut off point at Laugavegur Iceland Ultra 55km at 42km. Only 13km to the finish line.

This “failure” stayed with me. I since had Oscar, my body changed, then COVID hit and I really got into my training, and last year I ran 4 ultra races to qualify for Laugavegur. This time I believe I am ready, and I have been training hard, and sacrificed a lot.

I’ve chosen Samaritans to raise money for because of so many affected by mental health struggles, loneliness, isolation, abusive relationships and new challenges in life. Sometimes even the closest friends and family are not able to help, and Samaritans can be the last resort for some.
