Story

This September Talulah is walking the Wainwright coast to coast, She is Embarking on a 190 mile journey starting at St bees (Cumbria) and walking through the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire moors finishing her Journey in Robin Hood's bay, The Walk should hopefully take 13 days.

As a pub we are raising money for dogs for good throughout September, Talulah wanted to help raise money for a great cause as well as enjoying a great adventure along her way!

Wooden Spoon is the children's charity of rugby. We are a grant-making charity and fund life-changing projects across the UK & Ireland.

We have a national footprint, but the largest part of our income is raised by local volunteers. Our aim is that every penny that our volunteers raise is spent in their local communities.

We are asking you, the rugby community, to come together, in the true spirit of rugby and help us change young peoples lives through charities such as Dogs for Good.

We all know the difference dogs can make to our lives. But for the people they support, our dogs can actually make life possible.

The partnership will be helping to fund assistance dogs to support groups of children and young people with a range of disabilities and social needs.
