Potters Arf Marathon 2023, 11 June 2023
On Sunday 11th June, run, walk or relay the Potters 'Arf to raise funds for your local hospice. You are about to do something amazing so now's the time to spread the great news with friends and family.

Story

This year I am again running the Hanley Economic Potters Arf Marathon. This time will be a bit different as I am doing it in aid of a cause painfully close to my heart.

In January my wonderful mum (Carole) was heartbreakingly diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer, which in the space of three months caused her to become very unwell.

This led to her admission to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, a specialist care centre where people with life changing illnesses can be cared for with compassion, dignity and given peace.

This vital charity and the people working there have been instrumental in helping and caring for Mum throughout this period and so this is the least I could do to promote and support their work.

It would mean a lot to them (and me) if you could find the time to make a donation, however small.
