Hello! We are a team of dedicated legal professionals from Irwin Mitchell, and we are thrilled to announce our participation in the TCS 2025 London Marathon to raise funds for Sense, a charity that holds a special place in our hearts.

Our Court of Protection team works tirelessly to safeguard the welfare and financial interests of individuals who are unable to make decisions for themselves due to mental incapacity. We manage the affairs of vulnerable individuals, ensuring they are protected from exploitation and that their rights are upheld. Our work includes appointing deputies to manage finances and health decisions, resolving disputes, and setting up personal injury trusts.

This year, we have decided to take on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon to support Sense. Sense is a remarkable charity that empowers people with complex disabilities to communicate, experience the world, and fulfil their potential. They provide vital services to individuals who are deafblind or have other complex disabilities, helping them to lead more connected and fulfilling lives.

Our team is passionate about making a positive impact in our community. By participating in the London Marathon, we aim to raise awareness and funds for Sense, enabling them to continue their incredible work. Whether it’s through residential care, virtual support, or community centres, Sense is there to support individuals and their families every step of the way.
