Story
Sue Ryder, Leckhampton - Katy spent the last almost 3 weeks of her life being cared for by the amazing team of staff and volunteers at the hospice. They not only ensured she was comfortable but also ensured that her care was tailored to her wishes, it also meant that Katy's husband, Matt and her sister, Lucy were able to sleep next to her, so she was not alone and for family and friends to visit when they wanted. This flexibility afforded Katy, her family and close friends to make everlasting memories.
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
