Story
🏃♂️ Join Alex and Stuart as they lace up their running shoes for a cause close to their hearts: The MS Society.
Rob, Alex’s father-in-law, has bravely faced the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for many years. Through Rob's journey, they've witnessed firsthand the profound impact this condition can have on individuals and families alike.
MS affects the brain and spinal cord, damaging the protective coating of nerves and leading to a myriad of symptoms, including blurred vision, mobility issues, and cognitive challenges. It's a relentless condition that can significantly disrupt daily life.
By participating in the Great North Run this September, Alex and Stuart are not just running a race – they're running for hope. They're running to support the MS Society's mission of funding world-leading research to find treatments that could slow or halt the progression of MS. They're running to ensure that those affected by MS have access to vital support services, such as the MS Helpline and local support groups.
Together, they are aiming to raise £1000 combined. Every step they take, every mile they conquer, is a step towards a future where MS no longer holds power over individuals and families like Rob's. But they can't do it alone. They need your support.
Your donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of those affected by MS. It will fund groundbreaking research, provide essential support services, and bring hope to countless individuals and families.
Together, let's make every mile count. Join Alex and Stuart in their journey to support the MS Society and help create a world free from the devastating impact of MS. Your support means everything.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness. Let's run towards a brighter future, one step at a time.
