Story

As many of you already know me and Olivia unfortunately lost three babies in three separate pregnancies. On 16/03/2017, 13/09/2017 & 05/04/2018.

These losses were devastating and we still continue to cope everyday with what happened.

After each loss we were told there was no real cause and there was nothing we could do. Many other parents suffer these same awful circumstances.

For this reason, I am raising funds for both Sands the stillbirth and neonatal death charity & Sands United West Yorkshire by running the Leeds 10k on 18th June 2023. Like it was almost scripted the run takes place on Father’s Day 2023. So, it will be a very emotive and heartfelt day.

I know for all those athletes out there 10k definitely won’t seem like a lot, but for me the guy with the quintessential dad bod its really going to be hard work. I am only starting to train less than 60 days out and I am pretty much at a standing start.

Any money raised will go towards supporting Sands in the research and development of lifesaving treatment for babies and pregnancies. It will also go towards supporting Sands United West Yorkshire a football team created to support bereaved fathers after baby loss.

Thank you for your support, from myself & Olivia, our three angel babies and their brother Isaac-James, Toby & Teddy.
