Story
I am reaching out to you with a passionate plea to rally together for an extraordinary cause - supporting the Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity. As a member of the charity and fundraising committee at my workplace, our collective mission is to raise £10,000 by the end of this financial year, and we're a few hundred pounds away.
I've witnessed the incredible impact of this charity on the lives of children at the Birmingham Children's Hospital. One heartwarming example is the collaborative effort between our company and the charity over Christmas. The children's hospital ward was transformed into a festive haven, complete with a Santa's grotto and presents for the kids. It was a beautiful moment, bringing joy and a sense of normality to these brave children during the holiday season. Outside of Christmas the charity is unwavering in their commitment to providing top-notch medical care and, support to young patients. It is nothing short of inspiring.
To lead by example, I've decided to take on a challenge close to my heart. On the 23rd of March, I will embark on a continuous 40-mile walk along the Winchcombe Way. Having been a local to the Cotswolds all my life, I've always been intrigued by completing this route non-stop, wondering if it's possible. It's a demanding journey, but my determination pales in comparison to the resilience shown by the children we aim to help.
Our company has come together, united by the common goal of supporting these brave youngsters. This experience has highlighted the incredible feats we can achieve as a cohesive unit. Now, I am asking for your support to push us over the finish line. Your donations will not only help us reach our financial target but will also contribute to the healing and happiness of countless children.
Every pound brings us one step closer to making a lasting impact. Your generosity will be a beacon of hope for those who need it the most. Together, let's turn compassion into action and make a difference in the lives of these young warriors.
Thank you for being a part of this meaningful journey.
With gratitude,
Alex
