Please help to support the dedicated Breast Care team at Torbay Hospital to go even further for their patients and their families.

I’ve experienced first-hand the difference this team makes to people with breast cancer, and their families, as my wife is currently under their care. With a place in the marathon via the ballot, it felt like this was my opportunity to do something positive in return and help this fantastic team to continue to do small things that can make such a big difference at this time. It also means I can’t back out of the marathon now :)

The Breast Care Unit charitable fund is part of Torbay and South Devon NHS Charity. The charity funds equipment and support that can't be covered by the NHS and aren't deemed essential, but which make a significant difference in the care and treatment of patients. Your donation can help the team do so much that they wouldn't be able to do otherwise, from providing tattooing equipment enabling the team to tattoo on nipples after breast reconstruction and providing Moving On art, yoga, and meditation groups for patients following treatment to comforts like comfy chairs in the waiting room and a peaceful garden outside that gives people a little space outside of the Unit. Every pound raised will mean improved and enhanced care for the thousands of women (and men), supported by the Unit every year.
