For my sins I have signed up to a 60 mile bike ride from London to Brighton. At the time I hadn't quite appreciated how far that was, or how long that would take, especially for someone who only ever gets on a lime bike! Having started some light training, I've come to realise this might be a bigger challenge than I was anticipating, however, with your sponsorship to such a great cause it helps keep me going.

Did you know that 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England. In 2020 workers in the construction industry were 3.7 times more likely to commit sucide than the national average.

I am sure you will all know someone who has suffered from a mental health problem and finding the right support for both the individual and their loved ones is incredibly difficult.

So Virtus are raising money for Mental Health UK, a mental health charity that looks to support all those affected.
