Hi everyone,

To those who don't know me, I have never been a runner, but I had the thought of doing a couch to marathon after experiencing the thrill of watching the Manchester Marathon in 2024. If they can do it, why can't I?

I will be running the Adidas Manchester Marathon 2025, on Sunday 27th April!!

The charity chosen is close to my heart, as not only did I have some heart complications in my early life (hole in my heart). The main reason I am running for the British Heart Foundation is due to honour my late uncle Rob.

Robert Sapsford was an incredibly loved family member and a cardiologist based in Leeds for over 30 years where he practiced. His life was sadly cut short in September 2024 while cycling to work.

I want to keep alight his wonderful legacy and with your support and donation, we can make a tangible difference to peoples lives with this fundraiser for the British Heart Foundation!!

This race isn’t just about miles or time—it’s about honouring a life that touched so many and left an indelible mark on everybody's heart.

Your contribution, however big or small, will help Rob's legacy live on in a tangible way.
