The Zephyr’s Firewalk Fundraiser took place on the evening of Friday 2 February 2024 at Trent Navigation Inn in Nottingham. 27 brave souls did something incredible: they walked on fire!

Story

We (Alex, Lou, Sophie, Ceryn, Emily, Ophelia, Izzy and Georgina!) are taking part in the Zephyr's Firewalk Fundraiser on 2 February 2024, to raise vital funds for Zephyr's charity. Please donate and support us walking over hot coals! Hot gals hot coals!!

Zephyr's supports parents and families in Nottingham who have experienced baby and child loss. They providing free, holistic support sessions and activities including:

- Peer-led support sessions and drop-ins

- Specialist bereavement counselling

- Safe spaces of connection and understanding in person and/or online

- Creative and holistic therapies such as wellbeing walks, yoga, woodworking and forest school sessions

- Information sharing, lending books and resources.

All funds raised by fire walkers will directly support Zephyr's bereavement counselling service. You can read more about the counselling service here:

Through peer gatherings, therapeutic and creative activities, we offer understanding for anyone, regardless of how recent or long ago their loss.
