Our Patron, Paul O'Neill is inviting you to take part in a unique cycling challenge from Canterbury to Amsterdam. We will be cycling 4 countries in 4 days to mark Halton Haven's 40th anniversary in 2024!

Story

4 countries in 4 days 2024 will mark 40 years of Halton Haven caring for those on their final journey – An incredible achievement and one that we are so very proud of. The last few years have been incredibly difficult for the Hospice, with both the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis affecting our funding, we have fought hard to survive, ensuring we remain open and are there for the patients and the families that need us throughout Runcorn, Widnes and Frodsham. This challenge will not only raise much needed funds for the Hospice, it will also provide those that take part with a once in a lifetime experience. Whether you want to cycle in memory of a loved one, or you would just like to set yourself a challenge, our Patron, Paul O’Neill invites you to pedal with him from Canterbury to Amsterdam!, covering approximately 340 miles. You will begin your cycling adventure in Canterbury, taking you through beautiful English villages before reaching the port of Dover. After a short break on the ferry, you will ride into some of Europe’s most historical cities, passing through Dunkirk and Bruges and finishing in the incredible city of Amsterdam! If you are unable to take part in the ride but would still like to support our team and the work of Halton Haven Hospice, you can use this page to make a donation and leave a message of support. If your donation is for a specific cyclist please choose their page from those on the right and make your donation there. To find out more about the challenge or to sign up please visit: https://www.chapeauevents.co.uk/?page_id=3272
