Hello my name is Alex, I decided to do my first marathon in the summer of 2024 in Belfast. The whole journey of my training, the anticipation to the final day where you can see what your body is truly capable of and finally, running the marathon itself are all experiences that I’ll never forget.

After my first marathon it made me realise just how much I enjoyed doing it and that I want to continue doing various marathons around the world and why not raise money for charities whilst doing it.

Over 55,000 people will be diagnosed with prostate, testicular or penile cancer every year in the UK.

Orchid exists to save lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers through a range of support services, pioneering research and promoting awareness.

All donations are gratefully recieved and could make the following impact:

£10 could pay for a telephone call with an Orchid Nurse Specialist on our Freephone Helpline.

£20 could cover the cost of male cancer information being sent to 17 people following a male cancer concern or diagnosis.

£50 could cover a (vital) counselling session for those diagnosed with testicular or penile cancer.

£200 could cover a talk within the community about the risk factors, signs and symptoms of male cancer.
