In the summer of 2020, I spent time in beautiful Devon with the fun living Heloise. She was a fit & active mother of my two nieces.

The following year Heloise was diagnosed with MND. I watched the outgoing, active runner, skier & sailor progress to sticks, then a wheelchair and then become fully dependent on carers as she was no longer able to move. Throughout all of this she was brave and upbeat.

I finally said goodbye to this stoic lovely lady in May 2024; taken way to soon leaving her two gorgeous girls, devoted husband and the wider family and friends with a huge loss in their lives.

It is for this reason I am committed to raising awareness and money to fight MND - the most cruel of diseases.
