Story
Our beautiful mum sadly passed away on the 10th August 2023 of terminal cancer. She spent 3 weeks in the Trinity Hospice. The care and compassion they gave to Mum was nothing short of fantastic, and this extended to her family. Nothing can ever prepare you for the overwhelming grief we all felt, and still feel, but in our darkest days Trinity provided light. Mum felt safe and happy there, which is a testament to all the staff that work and volunteer there.
Trinity is not part of the NHS, although there is government funding, it has to rely heavily on donations. The reception staff, the gardeners and all the people who work in the charity shops are all volunteers. They give up their time freely to support this fantastic place.
They are all angels, the nurses, the doctors and all the volunteers.
