Story
The Feed is a Norwich-based charity which wants everyone in the city to be able to eat well, live well and feel connected in their community.
As Programme Manager at The Feed, I am responsible for ensuring sustainable funding, and working with our community members to ensure our wrap-around programme of support is relevant to need.
In Norfolk, 1 in 3 children are growing up in poverty and we know that we have higher than UK average rates of malnutrition.
Our social supermarket is helping over 5,000 people in Norwich who are affected by the cost of living have access to affordable, healthy groceries. This includes free fresh fruit and vegetables and hygiene products.
By providing safe spaces at the heart of the community and a holistic programme of support services which are developed in collaboration with our members, we aim to make a lasting change beyond the life of our projects.
Funds raised from this event will help The Feed continue this work.
